My Training
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor working online, telephone and face to face as member of The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). I have worked with clients ranging from carers to domestic violence survivors, with charities and in private practice. My training is continuous and I have clinical supervision monthly.
I follow the BACP ethical framework to inform my practice and hold a current Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Criminal Record check, with full Professional Public Liability Insurance and I adhere to the Information Commissioners Office regulations holding a certificate of membership.
I regularly attending CPD courses, shown below, and have developed my practice to include work with Domestic Violence victims to support those who are currently or previously in these relationships and are seeking change. My own personal experience of Boarding School has also led and informed my work and training with Boarding School Syndrome clients.
I am able to work with many issues, including loss and bereavement, guilt, shame and fear, trauma, lack of confidence, anxiety, boundary setting, belonging, suicidal thoughts and feelings, work and home stress and relationships, to name a few.
Before counselling, I have worked in retail, media, events & hospitality, the NHS and as a driver trainer. Many of these roles included coaching and training people of all ages and walks of life.
